A heartfelt thank you to the buyers, bidders and supporters of our cattle at yesterday’s Cream of the Crop Female Sale. Our draft of eight heifers all sold to a top of $7,000 with an average of $3,781.
It was our first time selling at the Cream of the Crop Sale and we were proud of how well our females performed, and humbled by the support that they received; topping both the joined and unjoined sections of the sale, and achieving the overall top-priced honours.
Lot 9, Nindethana Hannalee sold for $7,000 to the Cormack Family of Black Gully Droughtmaster Stud, Wallumbilla. A heifer’s first calf, Hannalee is sired by Wundaburra Octaginal and is out of High Country Cinderella. Hannalee has been joined to RSVP Jackpot and was 12 weeks in calf. The Cormack family also purchased lot 34, Nindethana Imke.
Lot 28, Nindethana Inga, and Lot 31, Nindethana Hilary shared top priced honours of the unjoined section, both selling for $5,250. Inga has found a new home at Rangeview Droughtmaster Stud, Cooroy while Hilary is destined for the Butler family’s Magnolia Farm Droughtmaster Stud at Bli Bli. The Butler family, who have purchased a number of our females over the past couple of years, also took home Lot 29, Nindethana Ilenea.
Thank you also to the Bayliss Family of Three Sisters Droughtmasters who purchased Lot 32, Nindethana Ilana and Lot 33, Nindethana Iris and the Kleidon family of Wandoan who purchased Lot 30, Nindethana Ithaca.
Congratulations to all vendors on the presentation of a wonderful line-up of cattle, and a big thank you to the agents and the Bunya Sale Committee for all the hard work that takes place behind the scenes.
