NINDETHANA will offer four young bulls at the 2026 Bunya Bull Sale to be held at the Coolabunia Sales Complex at Kingaroy on 5 September 2026. The bulls will be offered as Lots 55 to 58.
The sires that are represented in our Bunya Bull Sale draft are Rondel Whiskey, Nindethana Nigel and Waylanbar King of Kings.
All bulls and females have been:

- Fully Vaccinated: 7 in 1, 3-day, botulism, pestivirus, tick fever & and vibrio.
The bulls have been raised in paddocks that comprise gentle slopes, creek and river flats and ticks! They have been worked with quad bikes and on foot and have had plenty of education working through the yards and handling facilities.
The bulls have been grass-fed (native grasses and improved pastures) with access to a mineral supplement (Ag Solutions Megamin); light supplementation with Riverina stock pellets; and baled Rhodes grass.
Nindethana is a J-BAS 6 herd.

The apple didn’t fall too far from the tree!! Nigel is a clone of his sire, Rondel Whiskey and embodies so many of his exemplary features. He has inherited Whiskey’s extraordinary bone, tremendous muscling, a clean underline, and an insatiable libido and fertility to match. The similarities do not stop at physical attributes, Nigel’s temperament and quirky personality resemble that of his sire.
Successfully exhibited during 2023, Nigel attended no fewer than nine Agricultural shows in Southern Queensland, walking away with a championship sash from every event he attended. He completed his year in the showring as the Reserve Senior Champion Droughtmaster Bull at the Royal Queensland Show.
The first of Nigel’s female progeny were offered for sale at the 2026 Droughtmaster National Female Sale, and the first bulls will be offered at the 2026 Bunya Bull Sale.

Whiskey was purchased in partnership at the 2020 National Droughtmaster Bull Sale for $160,000. This outstanding young sire is genetically blessed and phenotypically perfect. His obvious sire appeal includes tremendous depth of body and softness; a strong polled head with hooded eye and tremendous muzzle; amazing skin; bone; and muscle; a clean underline; and an extraordinary temperament. Whiskey’s progeny was first offered to the market in 2023, the sales of which took the Droughtmaster breed to a new level.
WAYLANBAR KING OF KINGS

Purchased in partnership for $45,000, King of Kings exhibited all the tropical attributes we were seeking. He is a genuine combination of length, depth and width with a clean tropical coat and a clean underline. A strong head with a broad muzzle and hooded eye completes the package.
King’s first daughter was sold at the 2026 National Female Sale for $8,000. His first sons will be offered at the 2026 Bunya Bull Sale and the 2026 National Droughtmaster Bull Sale.

A powerful young Whiskey grandson who is long, thick, deep and wide. He is blessed with skin and coverage, a perfect sheath, a silk-like tropical coat, and a broad head with hooding and plenty of ear. A quiet temperament completes the package.
Dam, High Country Holly (Glen Fosslyn Idol / Nindethana Holly) was purchased as an unjoined heifer in 2019. She is a powerful female who has delivered six calves in consecutive years. Two impressive daughters have been retained in our stud, ‘Matilda’ & ‘Nicky’, both of whom equally blessed with their dam’s volume and capacity. A full brother to Queenslander, recently weaned, is one to be watched in 2027.

The first offering by the $45,000 sire, ‘King of Kings’ and from one of our most respected and decorated females in ‘Innika’.
Dam, Nindethana Innika (RSVP Jackpot; Talfield Felicia), an impressive female who is highly respected in our herd. A member of our show team for five consecutive years, Innika won multiple placings at the Royal Queensland Show, two Beef Australia expos, and secured several broad and interbreed championships at local agricultural shows. A particular highlight during her show career was the award of Supreme Champion Droughtmaster Female at the 2019 Wandoan Droughtmaster Feature Show. As a breeder, she is fertile, milks well, and has produced eight calves including two retained females; three bulls sold for breeding purposes (paddock & stud auction); a heifer sold for stud duties and a weaner bull at foot (full brother to Quadir).

Dam, Birch Sydney was purchased at the 2022 Cream of the Crop Female Sale along with her heifer calf at foot ‘Birch Waterlilly’ (retained for stud duties at Nindethana). She has produced two further calves, a steer and a weaner bull ‘Ralph’ who is a full brother to Quain.

His length, bone, skin type and underline are all hallmark features. A young bull who will continue to grow and mature into an exciting prospect. A quiet nature rounds off the package.
Dam, Nindethana Juliette (RSVP Jackpot/Nindethana Giselle), a former and successful member of our show team, is a soft, feminine and fertile female who is held in high regard at Nindethana. Juliette has produced seven calves: retained females ‘Missy’ and ‘Quintessa’; a show bull who tragically died of a suspected snake bite ‘Leopold’; a female sold at the 2023 National Female Sale ‘Nyasha’; a bull sold at the 2024 National Bull Sale ‘Orlando’; River; and a bull calf at foot by Whiskey.
