Nindethana and Nindethana JEM will be offering five unjoined heifers (Lots 166 – 170) at the National Female Sale on 11 March 2023, at the Gympie Saleyards.
Aged between 16 and 18 months, the heifers have been:
- DNA Profiled
- Sire Verified
- Horn Poll Tested
- Pestivirus tested NEGATIVE
- Pompes tested FREE
- Pregnancy tested empty
Vaccinations that have been administered include:
- 7 in 1
- 3 day
- Botulism
- Pestigard (pestivirus)
- Three germ tick fever
Our sale females have been raised in paddocks that have gentle slopes, creek and river flats, and ticks! They have been grass fed on native and improved pastures and have access to mineral supplements. Sale preparation has included a very light supplementation with barley hay and Riverina stock pellets.
Our herd has been tested for Bovine Johnes’ Disease (BJD) and we have a J-BAS 7 rating.

Rondel Whiskey (PP) D5
Our $160,000 purchase in conjunction with High Country Stud and Glenlands D Stud, Rondel Whiskey, like a good malt, just keeps improving with age. An outstanding young sire that is genetically and phenotypically perfect! He has grown into a massive bull with plenty of depth, bone and loose skin. He has a beautiful head with a lovely broad muzzle and heavily hooded eyes. His temperament is second to none!!
As a sire, he has not disappointed. In the showring, his first progeny to be exhibited was Glenlands D Emerson who was sashed Calf Champion at the 2022 Droughtmaster Feature Show at Toogoolawah. This was followed up by Nindethana Nicky who was awarded Junior Champion Heifer at the 2023 Droughtmaster Futurity. In the sale ring, his only progeny to be offered for sale thus far was a 13 month old heifer from High Country Stud, who sold at the 2022 High Country Sale for $11,000 to Vanguard Stud.
Glenlands J Bojangles (PH) D5
Sire, Glenlands J Bojangles (Glenlands D Vaas) was purchased at the 2020 Glenlands Sale for $55,000. He is a slick coated, soft young sire that has an abundance of loose skin. He is structurally correct with good bone, depth and thickness. At 24 months of age, he weighed 827kgs, with an EMA of 142cms and scrotal circumference of 42cms. He has a quiet nature and is the perfect gentleman.
Bojangles’ first heifers were offered for sale at the 2022 Cream of the Crop Female Sale and sold to a top of $6,000.
Lot 166 – NINDETHANA NYASHA (PP) D5
Sire: Rondel Whiskey
Dam: Nindethana Juliette
17 months
The very first progeny to be offered by Nindethana from the sale topping sire, Rondel Whiskey and she ticks plenty of boxes! Nyasha is an easy doing, feminine heifer that has inherited the qualities of both her dam and her sire, including their amazing temperament.
Dam, Nindethana Juliette (RSVP Jackpot) is a paddock sweetheart. She was a former show cow, as was her dam before her. A quiet, structurally sound female that has produced four calves in four years: a show bull that died suddenly (Leopold), a retained heifer and current member of our show team (Missy), Nyasha, and a bull calf at foot, also by Whiskey.

18 Months
Another outstanding heifer from the sale topping sire, Rondel Whiskey, Nemesia is a beautiful heifer who is soft, feminine, and structurally sound. To top it off, she has a lovely quiet temperament.
Dam, Nindethana Jackie (Oasis Mufasa / Nindethana Henrietta) and granddam, Nindethana Henrietta were both members of our show team. Henrietta won multiple broad ribbons and interbreed champions in her day, including the Royal Queensland Show Junior Heifer. Jackie has had three calves in three years including a paddock sale bull (Martin), Nemesia and a heifer calf at foot.

A beautiful heifer by Glenlands J Bojangles, Nigella has inherited her sire’s solid bone and structure, his slick coat, loose skin, tidy underline and quiet temperament.
Dam, Condamine Kandy (Condamine Ivanhoe / Condamine Honey) was purchased in 2016 as an unjoined female. She has produced six calves since purchase including two bulls that sold at the National Bull Sale (Jordy and Mason), a female sold for commercial breeding purposes (Kandy), a steer, Nigella, and a bull calf at foot, also sired by Bojangles.

Lot 169 – NINDETHANA NOTEABLE (PH) D5

Dam: Nindethana Daisibel
16 Months
Noteable is from our most successful female line dating back four generations. She is a soft, feminine heifer that oozes style and finesse. She is tidy, has loads of loose skin and plenty of growth ahead of her.
Dam, Nindethana Daisibel (Wundaburra Miribel / Wundaburra Octaginal) is our most celebrated female. As a young heifer, she was sashed Calf Champion at the 2012 Futurity followed by the Reserve Champion Female Calf at Beef 2012. She went on to win multiple broad ribbons and interbreed champions before retiring from the show ring at the end of 2014. As a breeder, she has excelled. She has produced 10 calves in 10 years, including four retained females (Fairibel, Jessable, Kirrabel and Lillibel), a female sold to High Country Stud (Gloribel), two bulls sold at auction (Honourable and Jeddabull), another out of the paddock (Matabull), and a beautiful heifer calf at foot.

Another beautiful female by the sale topping sire Rondel Whiskey, Emerald is a sweet, feminine heifer that has a lovely topline, incredibly tidy underline, a beautiful tropical coat, and a bomb proof temperament.
Dam, Nindethana JEM Acadia (RSVP Jackpot/ Bryvonlea Eddwina) is an amazing young mother with a beautiful temperament. She has had three calves in three years and is PTIC and due to calve on 27/9/23. With each pregnancy, she reduces her calving interval. Her first calf (Davos) sold at the Bunya Bull Sale for $12,000, Emerald is her second calf, and she has a bull calf at foot. She is back in calf to Whiskey.
