NINDETHANA and NINDETHANA JEM will offer five young bulls at the 2022 Bunya Bull Sale to be held at the Coolabunia Sales Complex at Kingaroy on 3 September 2022. The bulls will be offered as Lots 4 to 8.
The sires that are represented in our Bunya draft are Hamadra Headliner, Karragarra Miles, RSVP Lumberjack and Brigalow Park Xtreme.
All bulls have been:

The bulls have been raised in paddocks that mostly comprise gentle slopes, creek and river flats and ticks! They have been worked with bikes and on foot and have had plenty of education working through the yards and handling facilities.
The bulls have been grass fed (native grasses and improved pastures) with access to a mineral supplement and light supplementation with Riverina stock pellets. Following the floods earlier this year, they have had access to a mix of baled Rhodes grass and grassy lucerne.
Nindethana is a J-BAS 7 herd.

An impressive young Headliner calf, Melvin has inherited so many of his sire’s outstanding features: his near perfect conformation, strong topline, impressive head that is complimented by plenty of ear, and a beautiful silk-like tropical coat.
Sire, Hamadra Headliner (Minlacowie Salvador 8081/Hamadra February) is a stunning sire that has been successfully used in our AI program from which we have retained two females (Millie and Matilda), and have two sale bulls, Melvin and Murdock.
Dam, Haigslea Harriett (Rocky View Edwin/Haigslea 14/1) was purchased as a joined heifer at the 2009 Cream of the Crop Sale. She is an excellent breeder who has produced 12 calves in 12 years, including three broad ribbon winners: Ellen (retained); Godfrey (sold at the 2016 DN Sale); and Harry (Royal Queensland Reserve Junior Champion, 2016 and sold at the DN Sale in 2017), two females sold at auction, two paddock sale bulls, Melvin and a weaner bull.

Sire, Karragarra Miles (Glenlands Pistol/Karragarra Haldana) was selected for his depth, thickness, bone, a strong polled head, and tidy underline. Purchased in 2016 for $38,000, he is a gentle giant that has maintained his weight, libido and fertility. He has consistently achieved excellent pregnancy rates, low birth weight calves and weighty weaners, during each of his six seasons with Nindethana. His sons have sold to a top of $17,000 and daughters to $12,000.
Dam, RSVP Chickpea (Billabong Olin/RSVP Zaney) is highly fertile, milks well and produces weighty weaners. She has had ten calves in 11 years.

She has produced 10 calves in 10 years including two retained heifers (Emilie and Karrie), three sale heifers, all to studs (Helen, Indigo and Judy), one steer, two bulls sold at auction (Garfield at DN Sale and Limerick at Bunya Sale), Morgan and a beautiful weaner heifer. Markel was purchased with his dam, Truvalle Define 2nd at the 2020 Truvalle Stud Dispersal Sale. He is a tidy young bull with plenty of loose skin and a quiet temperament.
Sire, Brigalow Park Xtreme (Vitwood Nemesis) goes back to the legendary Swan Horsham. Truvalle purchased Xtreme in 2019 and many of the females that were offered at the 2020 dispersal sale of the stud, had been joined to him or had young calves at foot that were sired by him.
Dam, Truvalle Define 2nd (Lorandale Halo/Truvalle Define) has had five calves in five years; three prior to purchase, Markel, and a weaner heifer (Nettie). Calf number 6 is due on 22/10/22 (confirmed by ultrasound).

A heifer’s first calf, and youngster of the Nindethana & Nindethana JEM draft, Davos is an impressive young bull that is early maturing, stands on good bone, has plenty of natural muscling, a tidy underline, a glimmering tropical coat, and a sirey head.
Sire, RSVP Lumberjack (Billabong Armstrong/RSVP Eleanor) was purchased at the 2019 National Bull Sale. He was a gentle giant that produced a lovely line of heifers, the first of which were sold at the 2021 National Female Sale to a top of $6,000. Davos is one of only a few Lumberjack sons that will be offered for sale.
Dam, Nindethana JEM Arcadia (RSVP Jackpot/Bryvonlea Eddwina) is an amazing young mother with a beautiful temperament. Davos is her first calf. Her second calf (Emerald) was born 317 days after Davos on 31/10/22, and her third calf is due on 22/10/22 (confirmed by ultrasound).
