SIRES
RONDEL WHISKEY (PP) D5
Rondel Whiskey (Wajatryn 2338 Knightly/Rondel Skittles) was purchased in partnership at the 2020 National Droughtmaster Sale for $160,000. He was, in our mind, genetically and phenotypically perfect! At 21 months of age, Whiskey weighted 836kg and boasted an EMA of 142cms and scrotal circumference of 39cms. He has tremendous length, bone, muscle, and skin and an underline that is clean and tidy. His stunning head, broad muzzle and heavily hooded eye sets him apart from others and strengthens his appeal as a stud sire. To round off this perfect package, he has an extraordinary temperament and unique personality. Since purchase, Whiskey has developed into a massive bull, producing an impressive line of sons and daughters. His first son, offered from the High Country stable, sold for $50,000 and daughter for $11,000.
RONDEL PRESTON (P) D4
From the Rondel stable, Preston (Glenlands D Nationality/Rondel Michelle) has been used in our AI and IVF programs. Our enduring admiration for his progeny and an opportunity to acquire his semen, enabled us to replicate some of his extraordinary features: length, bone, muscle, and skin; beautiful heads with a broad muzzle and hooded eye; and a tropical coat that is smooth and glistening. All females in our program have been retained. Our first AI Preston son will be offered this spring.
GLENLANDS J BOJANGLES (PH) D5
Glenlands J Bojangles (Glenlands D Vass/Halcyon Ottie) was purchased at the 2020 Glenlands Sale for $55,000. He is soft, easy doing and has a load of tropical attributes. He structural correctness, loose skin, clean underline and slick tropical were evident. His stunning head and well hooded eye strengthen his appeal as a sire. He is gentle and easy to manage. Bojangles’ first sons will be offered for sale this spring.
