NINDETHANA will offer five young bulls at the 2025 Bunya Bull Sale to be held at the Coolabunia Sales Complex at Kingaroy on 6 September 2024. The bulls will be offered as Lots 15 – 19.
The sires that are represented in our Bunya draft are Nindethana Kensington and Rondel Whiskey.
All bulls have been:

• Fully Vaccinated: 7 in 1, 3-day, botulism, pestivirus, tick fever & and vibrio.
The bulls have been raised in paddocks that mostly comprise gentle slopes, creek and river flats and ticks! They have been worked with bikes and on foot and have had plenty of education working through the yards and handling facilities.
The bulls have been grass-fed (native grasses and improved pastures) with access to a mineral supplement; light supplementation with Riverina stock pellets; and baled Rhodes grass.
Nindethana is a J-BAS 7 herd.

Kensington was retained for stud duties in 2020. An early maturing calf with exceptional weight for age, Kensington was an evolving package of everything we had been searching for in others. He is as long as a train and has incredible bone and muscling, tremendous depth, a beautiful sire’s head, and a lovely tropical coat. His temperament is truly second to none. Kensington launched onto the show circuit in 2019 and at 11 months of age, was awarded the Junior Champion Droughtmaster Bull at the Royal Queensland Show. COVID-19 cut short his potential to shine further in the showring however, his potential as a sire has been well and truly realised.

Rondel Whiskey was purchased in partnership at the 2020 National Droughtmaster Sale for $160,000. This outstanding young sire is genetically blessed and phenotypically perfect. His noteworthy features include a strong polled head with hooded eye and tremendous muzzle; amazing skin; bone; depth and muscle; a clean underline; and an extraordinary temperament. His progeny was first offered to the market in 2023, the sales of which took the Droughtmaster breed to a new level.

Granddam, Daisibel is one of our most respected matrons. She is a Futurity, Ekka and Beef champion who has produced 12 calves with number 13 due in October. Several females retained and all bulls sold for breeding purposes (calf # 11 will lead our draft at the 2025 National Bull Sale). Great Granddam, Miribel had 12 calves with many females retained.
