NINDETHANA and NINDETHANA JEM will offer six bulls at the 2024 National Droughtmaster Bull Sale to be held at the Central Queensland Livestock Exchange, Gracemere on 18 & 19 September 2024. The bulls will be offered on Day 2 of the sale (19 September 2024) as Lots 458 to 463.
The sires that are represented in our draft are Rondel Whiskey, Glenlands J Bojangles, and Nindethana Kensington.

The bulls have been raised in paddocks that mostly comprise gentle slopes, creek and river flats and ticks! They have been worked with bikes and on foot and have had plenty of education working through the yards and handling facilities.
The bulls have been grass-fed (native grasses and improved pastures) with access to a mineral supplement, light supplementation with Riverina stock pellets and baled Rhodes grass.
Nindethana is a J-BAS 7 herd.

Rondel Whiskey was purchased in partnership at the 2020 National Droughtmaster Sale for $160,000. This outstanding young sire is genetically blessed and phenotypically perfect. His noteworthy features include a strong polled head with hooded eye and tremendous muzzle; amazing skin; bone; depth and muscle; a clean underline; and an extraordinary temperament. His progeny was first offered to the market in 2023, the sales of which took the Droughtmaster breed to a new level.

Purchased at the 2020 Glenlands Sale for $55,000, this exceptional young sire oozes appeal. He is slick coated, tidy, soft, and has an abundance of loose skin. He is structurally correct with good bone, depth, and thickness.
At 24 months of age, Bojangles weighed 827kg with an EMA of 142cms and a scrotal circumference of 42cms. He has grown into a massive bull with a kind and gentle nature.

Kensington was retained for stud duties in 2020. An early maturing calf with exceptional weight for age, Kensington was an evolving package of everything we had been searching for in others. He is as long as a train and has incredible bone and muscling, tremendous depth, a beautiful sire’s head, and a lovely tropical coat. His temperament is truly second to none. Kensington launched onto the show circuit in 2019 and at 11 months of age, was awarded the Junior Champion Droughtmaster Bull at the Royal Queensland Show. COVID-19 cut short his potential to shine further in the showring however, his potential as a sire has been well and truly realised.

His smooth tropical coat completes the package.
Dam: Magnolia Farm Ayla (Bryvonlea Malachi/Nindethana Hilary) is a moderate framed, well-mannered female with an exceptional underline and excellent udder. She has produced three calves in three years: a stunning heifer by Bojangles (Natasha), who sadly died when swept into the river during the January 2024 flood; Orville; and a cracker weaner heifer also by Whiskey. Dam, Nindethana Havana (Talgai Chico/Karragarra Miles) was gifted to Nindethana JEM as a weaner. She is a moderate framed female who has a quiet temperament and is easy doing. Havana has had six calves: two bulls sold for breeding purposes; a retained heifer; a steer; Frederick; and a stunning heifer calf that will be retained.
