
NINDETHANA (incorporating NINDETHANA JEM) will offer six young bulls at the 2020 Bunya Bull Sale to be held at the Coolabunia Sales Complex, Kingaroy on 5 September 2020. The bulls will be offered as Lots 54 to 60 (Lot 59 has been withdrawn).
The sires that are represented in our draft include the ever-consistent Bryvonlea Malachi; RSVP Jackpot; Ivanhoe Force and Angle Zed Commondante.
All bulls have been SIRE VERIFIED and HORN-POLL tested; PESTIVIRUS tested negative; POMPES tested free; fully VACCINATED (7 in 1; 3 day; botulism; pestivirus; and three germ tick fever & vibrio); and their semen has been MORPHOLOGY tested
We are a J-BAS 7 (WA) herd.
The bulls have been raised in paddocks that mostly comprise gentle slopes, creek and river flats and plenty of ticks! They have been worked with bikes and on foot and have had plenty of education working through the yards and handling facilities.
The bulls have been grass fed (native pastures) with access to Feedpro liquid mineral supplement and have been lightly supplemented with Riverina stock pellets. During dry conditions, they have had access to baled Rhodes grass and forage sorghum.

There is plenty to like about Krackerjack. He is vibrant and constantly on the move!! He walks out briskly and with purpose. Broken to lead, Krackerjack was successfully exhibited during 2019.
Sire, Bryvonlea Malachi left us earlier this year after eight wonderful years. He was a gentle giant that consistently delivered progeny that displayed his many positive attributes: length; depth; thickness; weight for age; the perfect underline; and a beautiful temperament. Many of his daughters have been retained in our stud and have gone on to produce quality progeny that have sold to a top of $25,000. Malachi’s daughters have sold at auction to a top of $5,000 and sons to a top of $23,000.
Dam, Riverside Bella (Glenlands Knick Knack) is one of our treasures! Purchased as a calf at foot, Bella has given us seven calves in eight years (one deceased) including: a heifer sold into a commercial operation (Ellie); a bull that sold to Fernleigh Stud (Fortitude); a heifer sold to High Country Stud (Georgia); a retained heifer (Hazel); Krackerjack; and a weaner bull calf.

A heifer’s first calf, this young Jackpot son is long, stands on good bone and has the perfect underline. He has an extremely quite temperament and is a pleasure to have in the paddock and yards. Broken to lead, Kingsley was successfully exhibited during 2019.
Dam, Nindethana Honey (Bryvonlea Malachi) is a sweet female that has a gentle nature, is fertile, milks well, and has had two calves in two years; Kingsley; and a cracker bull calf (Larry) that we hope will join our 2021 show team.

This young bull is worth an inspection. An AI calf by Angle Zed Commandante, Kommendabull has plenty of length and depth, a tidy underline and a great topline.
Sire, Angle Zed Commandante was an impressive stud sire in his day. With over 170 registered progeny to his name, many of which remain active, he has undoubtedly made a significant contribution to the breed. After purchasing a Commandante female (Angle Zed Clare) in 2015, and appreciating her many wonderful traits, we decided to use Commandante in our AI programs and have retained two heifers to date (Jello and Jeneva). Kommendabull is the first Commandante bull calf that we have bred.
Kommendabull’s dam, Wundaburra Miribel is the matriarch of our most successful female line. A former show champion, Miribel was purchased as a cow and calf unit at the 2010 Cream of the Crop Female Sale. She is highly fertile and has produced 11 calves. All daughters (Daisibel, Elisabel, Florabel & Miribel) and several granddaughters have been retained in our stud. Her four sons since purchase have been sold for an average of $12,000 and top of $23,000.

Kentucky is early maturing and easy doing young bull that has plenty of length and depth, a lovely tropical coat and a quiet temperament.
Dam, High Country Champagne (Billabong Ridley) was purchased as an unjoined heifer at the 2014 National Female Sale. She is a larger framed female that is quiet, fertile and milks well. She has produced five calves in five years, a retained heifer and full sister to Kentucky (Henrietta); a paddock bull; a commercial heifer; Kentucky; and a bull calf that died. Next calf is due in September.
Kentucky is an AI son of the now deceased, Ivanhoe Force who was owned by RSVP Stud. Force was a rich red bull that was strong in Swan bloodlines. He produced a consistent line of quality sons and daughters that were standouts for their depth and thickness. With almost 300 registered progeny to his name, and countless commercial breeders on the ground, his contribution to the breed is noteworthy. Force sired multiple broad ribbon and Interbreed Champions. His sons sold at auction to a top of $18,000 and daughters to $14,000.

Sire, RSVP Jackpot was acquired by private sale in 2015. The son of the now deceased Orana Issac (top priced bull at the DN 1999), Jackpot enjoyed a noteworthy show career before purchase. He has produced an impressive line of sons and daughters, many of which have been successfully exhibited, including the 2019 Royal Queensland Show Junior Champion Droughtmaster Bull (Kensington) and the 2019 Grand Champion Droughtmaster Female (Innika) at the Droughtmaster Feature Show. Dam, Nindethana Havana (Talgai Chico) is a moderate framed female that is quiet and easy doing. She has had two calves in two years: Brooklyn and a weaner heifer. She is due to calve again in September.
