NINDETHANA will offer two bulls and two heifers at the 2026 Droughtmaster Diamond Genetics Bull and Female Sale to be held at the Silverdale Saleyards on 26 September 2026. The heifers will be offered as Lots 6 & 7 and the bulls as Lots 82 & 83.
The sires that are represented in our draft are Nindethana Kensington, Nindethana Nigel and Glenlands D Winchester.
All bulls and females have been:

- Fully Vaccinated: 7 in 1, 3-day, botulism, pestivirus, tick fever & and for the bulls, the addition of vibrio.
Bulls have also been:

- VBBSE assessed by Dr Dianne Sorley on 24 July 2026
- Semen morphology tested by John Cooper, Just Genes (samples collected 24 July 2026)
Females have been:
- Veterinary assessed by Dr Malcolm Heath which included assessment of dentition and pregnancy testing by ultrasound.
The bulls and heifers have been raised in paddocks that mostly comprise gentle slopes, creek and river flats and ticks! They have been worked with bikes and on foot and have had plenty of education working through the yards and handling facilities.
The bulls and heifers have been grass-fed (native grasses and improved pastures) with access to a mineral supplement, light supplementation with Riverina stock pellets and baled Rhodes grass.
Nindethana is a J-BAS 6 herd.

Kensington was retained for stud duties in 2020. An early maturing calf with exceptional weight for age, Kensington was an evolving package of everything we had been searching for in others. He is as long as a train and has incredible bone and muscling, tremendous depth, a beautiful sire’s head, and a silk-like tropical coat. His temperament is truly second to none.
Kensington launched onto the show circuit in 2019 and at 11 months of age, was awarded the Junior Champion Droughtmaster Bull at the Royal Queensland Show. COVID-19 cut short his potential to shine further in the showring however, his potential as a sire has been well and truly realised.

The apple didn’t fall too far from the tree!! Nigel is a clone of his sire, Rondel Whiskey and embodies so many of his exemplary features. He has inherited Whiskey’s extraordinary bone, tremendous muscling, a clean underline, and an insatiable libido and fertility to match. The similarities do not stop at physical attributes, Nigel’s temperament and quirky personality resemble that of his sire.
Successfully exhibited during 2023, Nigel attended no fewer than nine Agricultural shows in Southern Queensland, walking away with a championship sash from every event he attended. He completed his year in the showring as the Reserve Senior Champion Droughtmaster Bull at the Royal Queensland Show.
The first of Nigel’s female progeny were offered for sale at the 2026 Droughtmaster National Female Sale, and the first bulls were offered at the 2026 Bunya Bull Sale.

Described by his breeder as an explosive prospect, Glenlands D Winchester was the sale topper at the 2018 Glenlands Sale, selling for $80,000 to Fieldhouse Stud in WA. Winchester’s semen has been used in AI programs on the East Coast and has produced some impressive progeny. In our operation, we have retained two Winchester AI females and purchased a third and have sold three young Winchester AI bulls at the 2022 National Bull Sale for an average of $50,000, topping at $110,000 for Nindethana Maverick.

Dam, Wundaburra Quartz Crystal is a respected matron who was purchased as an unjoined heifer at the Wundaburra Dispersal Sale in 2012. She is an easy doing female with a gentle disposition. ‘Quartz’ and has produced 13 calves since purchase.

A stunning young heifer who is smooth and beautifully conformed. She is eye catching from every angle – her striking head with hooded eye; her balance; bone; length; depth; lashings of loose skin; and a smooth tropical coat. Her presentation is matched only by her calm and quiet nature.
Quinlynn is blessed with genetic excellence on both sides of her pedigree. On the topside is Rondel Whiskey, a bull who has taken the breed to a new level. On the bottom side is Glenlands Tradition whose progeny has contributed to the quality of the Droughtmaster breed in South Africa through Vova Genetics/Vova Droughtmasters. Granddam, Innika is one of Nindethana’s most respected and decorated females. Dam, Nina has had three calves. Her first calf perished in the 2024 flood, followed by Quinlynn and a weaner bull calf.

A powerful and impressive young Kensington son who must be seen in the flesh to be appreciated. Quandary has inherited his sire’s length, depth, bone and carcass, coupled with a strong topline and tidy underline. He is clean skinned, smooth muscled and has a quiet temperament.
Dam, Nindethana Jessable (Calaanah Abraham / Nindethana Daisibel) is from our most successful and functional female line now dating back six generations with several females retained and almost all bulls sold for breeding purposes. Jessable has had 6 calves in 6 years including one retained female (Millabel) and # 7 is imminent. Granddam, Daisibel, a former Beef Australia and Ekka Champion has had 14 calves in 14 years, and Great Granddam, Miribel, 12 calves in 12 years.

A combination of Winchester and Iyla, two highly respected breeders with plenty of rungs on the board. Quip is long, deep and tidy. He has a strong topline, clean underline and loads of loose skin. Quiet temperament.
Dam, Nindethana Iyla (Glenlands Newton/Nindethana Fontine) was a former show heifer who has gone on to produce eight calves in consecutive years, including full sibling to Quip, Nindethana Maverick who sold at the 2022 National Bull Sale for $110,000. Granddam, Fontine (Bryvonlea Malachi / Karragarra Fronde) was a member of our show team for four years and during that time achieved numerous accolades. Fontine has had 10 calves.
